The Valley of mind

A valley, smothered in ice,
Bemoans its state with a frozen sigh.
Shimmering once in Sun’s splendor
Now it is a place for the warm to die.

Grey, pallored sky gazes below
As frozen, whitened earth looms.
Pilloried aplenty by plethora of pretences
Gaiety makes way for gloom.

Thin as a trickle, comes a ray
Of the Golden ball of Fire.
Filtering through the fog of forbiddance
And filling it with desire.

Love emanates from the valley now,
With greenery and life that it brings.
Beckoning brightness and bidding bygones,
The valley now embraces a new spring.

it's a mood changing poem... firstly i felt that it is a bit melancholic but then the poem swung into gay mood in the last two stanzas!!! Good one!!! Go on...
